Artaa CRM Backup
Artaa CRM Backup — Terms of Service
These terms apply to Artaa CRM Backup, the administrative integration that stores encrypted backups of the Artaa Work Platform CRM in Google Drive. They are for the administrators who connect and operate it.
Effective 14 October 2026
1. Purpose and intended administrators
Artaa CRM Backup has one purpose: keeping encrypted, off-server backups of the Artaa Work Platform CRM so that the CRM can be restored. It is an internal tool operated by Artaa.Media. It is not a public service, it has no sign-up, and it is not a general-purpose storage product.
Only administrators authorized by Artaa.Media may configure, connect, operate or restore it.
2. Google account authorization
Connecting the integration requires the owner of the destination Google account to authorize it for the drive.file permission described in the Privacy Policy. Connect only a Google account that you control, or that you are authorized to use for Artaa.Media’s backups.
Your use of Google Drive remains subject to Google’s own terms. Artaa CRM Backup is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
3. Accounts and credentials
Administrators must:
- protect the Google account that holds the backups with a strong password and two-step verification;
- never share the authorization, the server’s backup configuration or the repository password through chat, email, tickets or source control;
- set up and check the connection only through Artaa.Media’s authorized administrative access to the CRM’s server;
- if they suspect the authorization or the repository password has been exposed, revoke the connection in the Google Account straight away and tell the other administrators.
4. Recovery password
The backups are encrypted with a repository password. Without it, nobody — including Artaa.Media and Google — can read or restore them.
The administrator responsible for the backups must keep a copy of that password somewhere safe outside the CRM’s server and separate from the Google account, and confirm that the copy is correct. Losing it makes every off-server backup permanently unreadable.
5. Backup and restore limitations
Administrators should rely on the backups with these limits in mind:
- Backups are taken on a schedule, so a restore returns the CRM to the most recent successful backup. Anything changed after it is not included.
- A backup can fail — for example if the server, the network or Google Drive is unavailable — so administrators are expected to check that backups are succeeding.
- A backup that has not been restored successfully should not be relied on. Restores must be tested, using the restore test that is part of the integration.
- Google Drive copies are not immutable, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- The integration backs up the CRM’s database and stored files only. It does not back up the server’s configuration secrets, or anything held outside the CRM.
The integration is provided as an internal tool, as it is. Artaa.Media does not guarantee that every backup will succeed or that every restore will be complete; the checks described above exist to find out.
6. Storage availability and quota
Backups depend on Google Drive being available and on the storage quota of the connected account. When the quota is full or Google Drive is unavailable, uploads fail until space is freed or the service returns.
Google may change, limit or suspend Google Drive or its API under its own terms, and Artaa.Media cannot guarantee their availability.
7. Data retention and deletion
Backups are kept and removed as described in section 10 of the Privacy Policy.
Disconnecting the integration stops new backups but does not delete existing ones. Deleting the integration’s folder in Google Drive does, permanently, once it has left the trash — so make sure the backups are no longer needed for recovery before deleting them.
8. Changes and discontinuation
Artaa.Media may change, suspend or discontinue the integration — for example to move the backups to a different storage destination. If it is discontinued, the administrators disconnect it and decide, before anything is deleted, whether its backups are kept or deleted.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do.
